  • sweet thank you im big on fishing could you help me.what colour lure would i use in a canal.

  • i would use a live bait because the fish are probably saltwater because eat fish like anchovies

  • color does not matter. really. the fish dont care. its all about the existing conditions and presentation. if you present the lure in front of the fish, in a totaly natural way, that blends with the environment, then the fish will take it. color doesnt matter. but- i believe shades do matter. example: clear low water means barker shades. tarnished brass, and black work excellent in low and clear rivers. in cloudy, higher and colder water, i like big flashy silver, to entice the fish into biting.

  • "barker" should be "darker". sorry...

  • i disagree...if it is darker conditions, natural bait fish there will be dark for camo protection. so what you are trying to do is copy a baitfish in that area. darker waters you should have darker baits, because the fish are darker there so they can blend in. in clear waters you want lighter color baits, because the baitfish there are light color to blend in with the clear water. if a color really stands out in a spot, it means its unnatural, and the goal of a lure is to give a natural look.

  • yeah i agree with you as well. BUT i still stand by what i commented. at least here on the west coast. i get the whole blending in and looking natural. but for some reason when the water drops and becomes clear, black and tarnished brass is the way to go. at least thats what ive noticed. espesially with hardware such as spinners and spoons. and going small helps a bunch as well. usually nothing bigger the #2's and #3's. when the rivers are high and cloudy, we go with big and silver, or hot pink.

  • god i dont know why but that looks like one of the rivers me and my dad fished in when we went to grayeagle

  • when you catch a fish, do you clean it while its still alive or do you wait till it dies?

  • My fish are always dead by the time I get them home to clean them.

  • you can skin the fish any time youtube has some good vids on how to skin a fish its pretty easy

  • you dont clean the fish alive :O! you kill it first! Think about it this way...itll taste the same alive or dead but the humane thing to do is kill it first so it doesnt feel the pain...you can also know when to set the hook when your line tightens. works best in ponds

  • what's the best bait for pond bass?

  • I dunno worms mabe but don't count on me I'm 13 and today was my first day fishing

  • Shaky heads, chigger craws and if you want to spend the money use a rattle trap or crank bait but they cos t about 6 dollars for one

  • i would use a small topwater lure like a zara puppy,or a weedless fromg lure, but if you want natural bait use say, not stuff that like worms because brim will get those too, use larger grasshoppers to keep brim away and you could catch some nice bass with a live lizard hooked through the lips or a smallish frog if you can catch one, hooked through the lips just like the lizard

  • well it depends for smaller fish use meal worm, worms, and small baits. For bigger fish you might want to use frogs, other fish.
those were only live bait there is also artificial usually more fun, bigs ones are usually caught on swimbaits while other smaller ones on jerkbaits, crankbaits, and plastics TIGHT LINES

  • Fishing Tips : How to Catch a Fish wow thanks man i realy suck at fishing but yeah now i feel like i can ceatch any fish thanks

  • if i had any tips it would be be patient, dont be too anxious. make sure you never have slack. your a beginner so you should be using a bobber, when it go's under, set the hook... keep your pole high and reel in. sometimes when you try setting the hook it will come loose .. it is okay just wait for the fish to hit it again if it doesnt reel in and try it again.

  • love fishing but dont allwas have tenison on the fish becuse if you do you could brack your pole but ya i have ben fishing my hole life fun but the bigwons you uselly want some temion on the line

  • yesterday i caught a carp and it almost pulled in my pole! my cousin caught a tiny fish and she didnt even know until she reeled it in to leave. lolKind of simple guide, surely every fisherman should realize these things by themselves without a guide. The hard part is to get the fish to bite the hook though
