  perch here in canadaigua lake are so finicky and you cant use plastics, so if you stay out all day you need like 45 mousies

  we weren't even close to the 2 person 100 perch limit . keeping over the limit is not even something we would consider nor is keeping fish out of season , under legal size limit ect

• I live close to chautauqua and fish it a lot. I fished it everyday the first week of march, i was on spring break from school. Most of the other kids i know went to beaches but i couldnt think of any better way to spend my break but on the ice. I fish a variety of jigs but what was the name of that minnow jig you were using? or do they sell it at the happy hooker? Ur videos are awesome man
  
• thanks man. i was using a fiska tungsten jig with a ratso tail -not sure if they had them at happy hooker. we'll probably be up at Chautauqua this weekend my brother got 15 nice crappie in one of the canals last sunday-should be even better this weekend

where is chautauqua lake?

• in western newyork / chautauqua county
  
• Are there bass and pike there also?
  
• no pike - theres walleye, bass, musky, crappie, bluegill & perch
  
• they have gar pikes up there, which r also called aligator gars
  
• gator gars in chatqua lake dream on... only way i've ever seen gar at all is in the rrivers unless the game and fish dept of new york is reatrded theres no gar in any lake
• their retarded enough in north dakota to put long and hortnose in the tailrace, along with monster pike in the 40 lb range, and yet i wonder why no one dives in there
  
• ive never seen any one catch a gator gar in any of the fingerlakes in NY, but in the Seneca Cayuga canal they are allover the place
